What are your fees?

Tracey Dahl Counselling follows the rates recommended by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, the designating body for Registered Clinical Counsellors. Individual Therapy $150.00 (50-minute session not including GST). See the professional recommended fee schedules here.

Are RCC’s covered under Health Insurance Plans?

You will need to check your health insurance plan to discover how your individual plan determines coverage. Every plan seems to be unique. Receipts from Canvas Counselling include the therapist’s RCC membership number and then can be submitted to your health insurance provider directly.

What if I need to cancel a session?

Please give 48hrs notice of appointment cancellation. We understand that emergencies do happen, but generally, a full session will be invoiced for cancellation without 48hr notice. Please text or email me directly if you need to cancel or cancel your appointment.

Do you work weekends or evenings?

I do not have evening or weekend availability.

Is the office private?

Yes, I values, honours and respects your privacy. All client records are secured and PIPA compliant.

How do I pay for my appointment?

You can pay for your session at the office or before your appointment with cash, credit card, or e-transfer. Payment must be made prior to or immediately following each session.

I am unsure if I need counselling?

Set up a phone consultation. This is one of the ways we can both assess whether I am a fit for you. There is no obligation to continue, but it will give us a sense if we would be a good fit

Do you work with children or teenagers?

I work with individuals in High School. If you need a recommendation for a child counsellor near you, please call the Shoreline front office
