Frequently Asked Questions
What are your fees?
Canvas Counselling follows the rates recommended by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, the designating body for Registered Clinical Counsellors. Individual Therapy $120.00 (50-minute session not including GST). See the professional recommended fee schedules here.
Are RCC’s covered under Health Insurance Plans?
You will need to check your health insurance plan to discover how your individual plan determines coverage. Every plan seems to be unique. Receipts from Canvas Counselling include the therapist’s RCC membership number and then can be submitted to your health insurance provider directly.
What if I need to cancel a session?

Canvas Counselling understands that emergencies do happen, but generally, a full session will be invoiced for cancellation without 24hr notice. Please email info@canvascounselling directly if you need to cancel or cancel your appointment online.
Do you work weekends or evenings?
No, currently, I do not offer weekend or evening sessions, but I am happy to refer you to a colleague who works these hours.

I am unsure if I need counselling?
