What are your fees?
Canvas Counselling follows the rates recommended by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, the designating body for Registered Clinical Counsellors. Individual Therapy $120.00 (50-minute session not including GST). See the professional recommended fee schedules here.
Are RCC’s covered under Health Insurance Plans?
You will need to check your health insurance plan to discover how your individual plan determines coverage. Every plan seems to be unique. Receipts from Canvas Counselling include the therapist’s RCC membership number and then can be submitted to your health insurance provider directly.
What if I need to cancel a session?
Canvas Counselling asks for 48hrs notice of appointment cancellation. Canvas Counselling understands that emergencies do happen, but generally, a full session will be invoiced for cancellation without 24hr notice. Please email info@canvascounselling directly if you need to cancel or cancel your appointment online.
Do you work weekends or evenings?
No, currently, I do not offer weekend or evening sessions, but I am happy to refer you to a colleague who works these hours.
Is the office private?
Yes, Canvas Counselling values, honours and respects your privacy. All client records are secured and HIPAA compliant.
Can I pay online?
Yes, you can pay for your session at the office or before your appointment here. Payment must be made prior to or immediately following each session.
I am unsure if I need counselling?
Come in for a free consultation. This is one of the ways we can both assess whether Canvas Counselling is a fit for you. There is no obligation to continue, but it will give you a sense of the work I do and if the counselling relationship would be a fit for you.
Do you work with children or teenagers?
Tracey works with individuals in High School. If you need a recommendation for a child counsellor near you, please email Canvas Counselling at email@example.com.
